Drug supply charges

A MAN from Chester Hill will face court next month after allegedly supplying MDMA for distribution at two dance parties at Sydney Showground.
Officers from Wetherill Park Region Enforcement Squad (RES) with assistance from drug detection dogs, attended two separate dance parties at Sydney Showground on Saturday, April 21, and Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Following investigations, Wetherill Park RES arrested a 25-year-old man yesterday morning (Wednesday, May 16) on Campbell Street, Berala.
He was taken to Auburn Police Station where he was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug indictable quantity.
Police will allege in court the 25-year-old man supplied more than 400 MDMA tablets for distribution at Midnight Mafia and A State of Trance dance parties.
The man was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on Thursday, June 7.
