THE annual Fire and Rescue NSW open day will be held on Saturday with stations across Canterbury Bankstown giving visitors a glimpse into the service.
There will be demonstrations, tours and a chance to meet firefighters and see the equipment they use to keep the community safe. There is also an array of children's activities. The day provides an opportunity to speak to firefighters about fire safety in the home, including how to install and maintain smoke alarms and how to develop a home escape plan. Stations open from 10am to 2pm.
