PLAYING his 200th AFL game Callan Ward was one of the Giants best at Spotless Stadium on Saturday but his efforts weren't enough to save the home-side from going down 12.14 (86) to 8.13 (61) to the West Coast Eagles.
Continually turning the ball over the Giants gifted the Eagles several goals in the 25-point loss, coach Leon Cameron admitted that his team's foot skills let them down badly for the second week running.
"Clearly our ball use is hurting us, we can't shy away from that," he said.
