A man is led away by police after they raided homes in Auburn as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged drug supply ring.
DRUGS and cash were allegedly seized during early morning raids on six homes in Auburn last Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged drug supply ring.
Officers from the Auburn Police Area Command (PAC), with assistance from the Tactical Operations Unit and the Public Order and Riot Squad, executed search warrants on the homes in Harrow Road as part of Strike Force Oilwell.
The Strike Force was established in 2016 to investigate the supply of illegal drugs.
During the search of the homes, police allegedly found cannabis, replica firearms, prohibited weapons and cash.
Four men and a woman were arrested during the raids.
A 42-year-old man has been charged with several drug related offences relating to the supply of prohibited drugs and was bail refused to appear in Burwood Local Court on Wednesday, April 18.
