DON'T leave it to the last minute to sign up for the PCYC Marrickville's annual 3on3 basketball tournament on Saturday, April 21.
Activities officer Jordan Koorey says the National Youth Week event is open to both boys and girls aged 12 to 18, with Under 14s, Under 16s, Under 18s and an 18s Open Division.
"It's your opportunity to win sporting goods and gadgets, so round up your mates and form a team of three or four to be in the running for some awesome prizes," he said.
"Our tournaments are family friendly, jam-packed with entertainment and available to all skill levels and abilities with food and drinks on offer through a gold coin donation.
"There will be plenty of entertainment, fun and giveaways on the day, and all the money raised will go towards sponsoring a youth drop-in zone to provide a safe space for young people."
Open to players of all abilities, Mr Koorey says the event is being supported by Inner West Council and Yellow Brick Road Earlwood with the aim of encouraging young people to enjoy a friendly competition in a fun and safe environment.
