A MAN has died after his vehicle was crushed between two trucks at Bankstown on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened just before 5.30am in the city-bound lanes of Canterbury Road near Calidore Street.
Both truck drivers escaped injury with one driver taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
The accident caused traffic chaos for several hours while the officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit (MCIU) examined the scene of the fatal accident.
Another truck driver who wasn't involved in the initial incident, will also receive an infringement notice after he allegedly reversed into a power pole while doing a u-turn to avoid the accident site.
