Walking basketball

SLOWING down the pace of a traditional game, the Sydney Kings and Basketball NSW will host a special Walking Basketball event as part of the NSW Seniors Festival at Qudos Bank Arena on Thursday, April 12. Aimed at all ages, genders and abilities including absolute beginners as well as masters of the sport, Walking Basketball is a low impact and fun way to stay active. Kings captain Kevin Lisch will be on hand to help seniors, like Lorraine Landon and Don Elford, run through basic skills in dribbling, passing and catching before they play a short game. To register, visit snip.ly/walking.
