The Twin Willows’ Bibek Khadka, Jacqueline McCulloch and James Psaila invite everyone to tuck into a ‘pink’ burger to help raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
DURING March, burger lovers will be able help raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation at Bass Hill's Twin Willows Hotel.
Helping launch the Boss Burger fundraiser at midday on Monday, March 19, will be competitive food eaters, Sir Isaac Eats-A-Lot and Jesse "Food-Coma" Freeman.
The pair will attempt to devour 20 to 25 of of the Twin Willows' Double D Fried Chicken Burgers, with sponsors donating money for each burger consumed within 15 minutes.
One sponsor has pledged $20 for each burger the pair swallow.
The burgers consist of double fried chicken, double cheese, slaw, McClure's Pickles and spicy mayo on a pink bun.
Jacqueline McCulloch, from Laundy Hotels, says pledges can start at $5 for each burger swallowed by the competitive food eaters.
"It will be quite a sight, and will be lots of fun for a good cause," she said.
Besides the Twin Willows, the Double D Fried Chicken Burger will also be available at the Crossways Hotel, and Woolwich Pier Hotel on the same day, with one dollar from every sale going to fighting breast cancer.
The promotion is part of Laundy Hotels' Boss Burger launch, which will see $1 donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for every burger sold until the end of the month.
The Boss Burger range will also be available at Plumpton Hotel, Long Jetty Hotel and South Dubbo Tavern.
