WILLING to cut off "almost all" of her long hair for this year's World's Greatest Shave for a Cure, Auburn resident Suvrashree Rimal (pictured) says she isn't "quite brave enough" to go all the way.
The 18-year-old who is already nearly halfway to her fund-raising goal of $500, says her uncoloured hair will also be donated to help make a wig for use by a cancer patient.
"I wanted to help in any little way I could," she said.
"Even though I am not going all the way, every dollar I raise will still make a difference.
"My hair means so much to me, I can only imagine how much it would mean to someone going through cancer."
Suvrashree will lose most of her long locks at Scissor Sisters on March 15.
