THE Bass Hill RSL Soccer Club is gearing-up for another season, with registrations now open for players, coaches and managers.
Secretary Peter Hudson, who has been in the position for 20 years, says the club has a proud history.
"We've taken the club championships, six out of the last 10 years," Peter said.
The club played in the grand final last year and was the winner of the competition the two previous years.
Bass Hill competes against 22 other clubs in the Bankstown Association, fielding sides from the Premiership League through to juniors, 'ladies', over 35s and over 45s.
The club also hosts the Little Grasshoppers program for children aged three to five years of age. The junior teams start from under 6s, with a shortage of players in the under 15s.
Registration days will be held at the club's home ground, Walshaw Park, Trebartha and Hector streets, Bass Hill, over the next two Saturdays (February 17 and 24) from 10am to 2pm.
"The registration fee includes a free soccer ball, jersey, shorts and socks," Peter said.
