THEY may be a dab hand at changing your battery, but now thanks to a commitment to Guide Dogs Australia along with a Chinese celebration, Bankstown's Andrew Raymond and Tempe's Greg Georgarosare have turned their hand to paint.
Across NSW, Guide Dogs Australia has embraced the Chinese New Year's - Year of the Dog by inviting its supporters to get creative and paint their life-size Guide Dogs coin collection dogs.
And it didn't take much to get the Battery World locals in on the act, especially when they learnt the Chinese believed the colour purple brings physical and mental strength along with abundance and luck.
"Battery World has been supporting Guide Dogs Australia as our charity of choice for the last two years," Andrew said.
"Not only are they Australia's most trusted charity, but the dogs are critical to the physical and mental well-being of the people they assist. So, when we were given the opportunity to paint a dog to help promote the fabulous work the association does – we couldn't wait."
