Police cordon-off the area on Canterbury Road at Campsie where the girl, 2, was struck by a car and later died.
A CHILD struck by a car in a driveway at Campsie this morning, has died.
The two-year-old girl was hit by a reversing Kia at the rear of a small business on Beamish Street, about 10.45am.
She sustained critical injuries and was taken to Sydney Children's Hospital at Randwick but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
The Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit is investigating and the female driver of the Kia has undergone mandatory blood and urine tests.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
