A BICYCLE rider has escaped serious injury after he collided with a truck on the Hume Highway outside Bass Hill Plaza just before 11am today.
The 20 something push bike rider went under the truck, which was travelling at low speed, a NSW Ambulance spokesperson said.
Paramedics treated the man for leg and back injuries, and he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of the accident, police closed part of the Hume Highway, which has now re-opened to traffic.
