BANKSTOWN PCYC will host a 'dress up party' Blue Light event on Friday at 5pm for primary school aged children.
Bankstown Club Manager Alistair Foggo said Blue Light had been an important part of PCYC since before the 1980s.
"In their heyday they were one of the most popular community events, where teenagers could enjoy themselves in a safe and supervised environment," Mr Foggo said.
The Bankstown event will be a dress up party, and include the opportunity to try different PCYC activities like boxing and soccer, as well as dancing. There will also be a fundraising raffle, with first prize a Christmas hamper worth $300 donated by IGA Bankstown. Details: 9796 1287.
