ONE of two dozen new firefighters to graduate last week after completing a gruelling 13-week training course, Natalie Ingram has begun her career with Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) at the Silverwater station.
At a graduation ceremony at the State Training College in Alexandria, Minister for Emergency Services, Troy Grant and FRNSW Commissioner Paul Baxter congratulated the new firefighters.
"The tasks our firefighters perform on a daily basis are as complex as they are varied. FRNSW recruit firefighters bring wide-ranging skills and life experiences to help meet these diverse challenges," Mr Grant said.
"I thank these recruits for putting up their hands to protect communities across NSW."
FRNSW recently launched its 2017 firefighter recruitment campaign and is calling on community-minded men and women to join its ranks.
