LONG-SERVING staff from the Opal Glen Lynn aged care home at Auburn, were honoured at a special afternoon last week.
Administration officer Ann Dobson said registered nurse Dolores Santos and general service officer Marina Magtanona were both recognised for their dedication after being with the company for 20 years each.
"Marina always serves the residents with a smile and loves having a chat along the way," Mrs Dobson said.
Mrs Santos said it was real pleasure to look after the residents.
"Glen Lynn is like my second home and the residents are like my family, serving them like my own," Mrs Santos said.
Also recognised for her five years of service at the facility, assistant in nursing (AIN) Nang (Grace) Sein said each of the elderly residents were different and being able to care for them was a "great joy".
