BOASTING a picturesque 18 hole, Par 72 championship golf course, with an easy walking, slightly undulating layout, the Carnarvon Golf Club's lush kikuyu fairways and poa grass greens are kept neatly manicured all year round.
However the club's general manager, Mitch Nakic, says they are more than just a golf course with everybody welcome to drop in.
He says their Fairway Brasserie offers a wide variety of superb meals prepared by the club's executive chef, Rufus Lima.
"There's sure to be something on the menu to tantalise everyone's tastebuds," Mitch says.
"There are dishes such as beer battered flathead, steaks and lamb skewers, to spaghetti marinara and a return of the club favourite with cooked to order Sunday Breakfast from 9-11am offering great value.
"Our chef's blackboard menu offers you fantastic seasonal dishes and our weekly specials give diners the opportunity for some quality meals at great prices.
"Children are always welcome too, with a special menu and meals for just $10.
"Their meals include a free novelty bag and free ice cream.
"Don't forget about our discounted steak and ribs offer on Thursday nights and the roast of the day is always juicy, full of flavour and quite simply delicious on any day of the week.
"So whether, it is just a snack after a round of golf, dinner for two or a night out with the family and friends, the Fairways Brasserie at Carnarvon Golf Club sure hits the spot."
The Carnarvon Golf Club's Fairway Brasserie is open Monday to Tuesday, 11.30am to 2pm; Wednesday to Thursday, 11.30am to 8pm; Friday and Saturday, 11.30am to 8.30pm and Sunday, 9am to 2pm. Visit for more info.
