THE Greater Western Sydney (GWS) Giants' 15.13 (103) to 8.11 (59) loss to Geelong on Saturday nigh,t saw them slip from second to fourth in the final round of the home and away season.
Finishing in fourth spot on the AFL ladder, means they will come up against the Adelaide Crows, who finished first, in the first week of this year's qualifying finals at Adelaide Oval on September 7.
A win in the qualifying final would see the Giants host a home preliminary final in week three of finals while a loss would mean hosting a knock-out semi-final in week two.
