Revesby’s Cooper Dallimore has been selected as the feature artist in the 2017 Schools Spectacular.
THE career of Revesby's Cooper Dallimore has been given another boost with the announcement of his selection as the featured artist in the 2017 Schools Spectacular.
Now in its 34th year, the popular live-and-televised extravaganza will feature over 5,700 students including a choir of 2,700 voices, 2,400 dancers; a 100-piece symphony orchestra; world-class stage band, 44 solo singers and 145 dancers from public schools across NSW.
"I was over the moon, gobsmacked, when I was told I had been selected as the feature artist," Cooper said.
"Performing in front of such a huge audience will give me a taste of professionalism."
The former student at Picnic Point High School and Newtown High School of Performing Arts, the 19-year-old cut his teeth as a member of the Bankstown Talent Advancement Program (TAP). Cooper has his sights firmly set on a career in the performing arts, with lead roles in the stage productions Fame, Mulan, the Little Mermaid and Aladdin already on his resume.
