SALIM Mehajer's six-bedroom Lidcombe mansion is up for rent.
Potential tenants will need to hand over $2,950 a week along with a $11,800 bond but in return they will have a choice of five bathrooms and underground parking for 13 cars.
The listing on domain.com.au notes that the four level home which is covered by no less than 56 surveillance cameras and a "highly integrated security system" is "unquestionably one of the most impressive homes built in Lidcombe with no expense spared".
Announcing the move on his Instagram account the former Auburn deputy mayor said he has decided to leave Lidcombe and the street where he was born and raised but is keeping his new location a secret.
"I've decided to finally rent it out to one luck (sic) family," he said.
"Did you know I designed, built and hand picked every single item in the house, from the screws that are (in) the hinges to the light bulb luminosity."
Inspections are by appointment only through Surething Realty.
