Woman seriously injured in scooter crash in Padstow

A WOMAN remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital after an electric scooter crash in Padstow.
About 5.20pm yesterday (Wednesday, May 17), a 33-year-old woman was riding the scooter on Gibson Avenue, Padstow, when she struck a parked car and fell to the roadway.
The woman was not wearing a helmet and sustained serious head and facial injuries.
She was conveyed to Liverpool Hospital by road in a serious condition. She has undergone surgery and remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police from Bankstown Local Area Command are investigating the incident.
