Fuel contaminated

A LEAKING water main contaminated fuel at a service station at Georges Hall last week causing damage to a number of motor vehicles.
The Torch has been contacted by customers after their vehicles were damaged from the contaminated fuel purchased from the 7-Eleven service station on Marion Street. The service station, opposite Bankstown Airport at the corner of Surrey Street, has closed a number of its bowsers as a consequence of the leaking water main, according to a spokesperson. The 7-Eleven spokesperson said an unspecified number of customers have reported damaged vehicles as a result.
Anyone experiencing problems with their vehicle after fuelling at the service station should call 7-Eleven customer service on 1800 247 711.
