Pair try to rob boy

A 22-YEAR-OLD man and a 24-year-old woman have each been charged with attempted robbery in company after allegedly trying to steal a gold chain from a 13-year-old boy at Merrylands on Wednesday night.
After allegedly being confronted by the pair just before 9pm, the boy sought help from a nearby witness before contacting police.
The woman was also charged in relation to an outstanding warrant.

Raids over fraud
DETECTIVES searched professional health premises at Auburn and Bankstown last week as part of an ongoing investigation into the alleged defrauding of the Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance scheme.
Strike Force Ravens was established in August last year to investigate syndicates targeting the CTP insurance scheme following recommendations of the CTP Task Force.
At 10.15am on Tuesday, May 9, SF Ravens detectives simultaneously raided a business on Queen Street in Auburn and at Kitchener Parade in Bankstown, seizing documents and computers.
