THIS weekend's clash with the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium, will see the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs wear their first ever ANZAC jersey.
The design of the jersey features cascading poppies which represent those who have fallen to protect us.
The names of Bulldogs alumni who served in World War II are printed on the front of the jersey and the top is embroidered with the first ever premiership match played by the club, which was on ANZAC Day in 1935, against the North Sydney Bears at North Sydney Oval.
Adam Elliott is pictured wearing the ANZAC jersey.
