Council win for interfaith talk program

THE outstanding achievements of dedicated employees across all levels of local government have been celebrated at the Local Government Awards Dinner in Sydney.
Canterbury Bankstown Council was acknowledged for excellence in community development and services for its Interfaith Talk Program at the awards.
NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro said local government ingenuity and innovation was helping councils work smarter and deliver even better services for ratepayers.
"I would like to thank everyone working for and with local government for their dedication and hard work, particularly throughout this period of transition," Mr Barilaro said.
The annual Local Government Awards Dinner is organised by the Local Government Professionals Australia, NSW, to acknowledge excellence in the sector.
